What We Offer

Thermoplastic materials are ideally suited for the manufacture of low friction bearings and rollers in a multitude of industrial applications.

For optimum performance, materials should exhibit the following characteristics:

  • Low coefficient of friction
  • High wear and abrasion resistance
  • Low weight
  • Stable
  • Self lubricating
  • Chemical and corrosion resistance
  • Noise reducing
  • Physiologically safe if required

Improved Performance

Basic engineering grades, such as PE1000, NYLON 6, ACETAL and POLYESTER are usually suitable, however we can also offer premium and filled grades where improved performance is required. The introduction of oil, wax and glass additives will enhance mechanical properties for higher loads or elevated temperatures.

Improved Tolerance

Manufactured on CNC and conventional lathes, our machining process results in improved tolerance and cost effectiveness over injection moulded components, especially on small to medium sized batch requirements.
