Chain guide sections are available to suit standard simplex / duplex / triplex ISO and ASA roller chains, as well as polycord and V belt systems. Bespoke profiles can be made to customer specification. Exactly the same benefits apply to polycord and V belt systems.
Wear resistant, very low friction, impact resistant and self- lubricating, are inherent characteristics of UHMW PE, making it the ideal choice of material for chain guide and wear strips. Whilst supporting the chain, the profile reduces noise, improves slide, reduces load on drive motors and increases chain life.
Stainless or Galvanised Steel C profile can also be supplied, where additional support is required. In more arduous environments, where excessive heat or loading restrict the use of UHMW, grades such as NYLON 6 Oil Filled or PTFE can be offered as alternative chain guide materials.
All of the following chain guides and wear strips are available 1, 2 or 3 metre lengths and supplied in material grades.
